Hello Everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the activities about butterflies last week. Thank you for the lovely life cycle pictures that I have been sent. It's not too late if you haven't sent yours yet, just pop it in an email for me. Maybe I can make a collage of all our lovely life cycle pictures.

Please find below, a timetable and resources for this week. We are going to think about a different life cycle this week - frogs!

General resources for handwriting and tricky words are included again. Keep working on writing your surname too - this is a really useful thing to be able to do.

Roll and Read games. There are CVC words or 'ar' words for a challenge. Take in turns to roll the dice and pick a word from that row to read. You could cross them out if you are correct and make it more interesting by trying to get a row of four words to win.

There is no need to print the reading questions below. Just read them from the screen and decide whether the answer is yes or no. Maybe try a couple each day.

Dear Zoo Home Learning Pack

One of the parents asked for some links to some of the little songs we sing every day at school. Unfortunately, these are little songs I have been singing with my classes for years and I don't have the music anywhere. However, I can share the words below to our 'Days of the week' song and if you said these to your child, I'm sure the tune would come back to them!

Seven days, seven days,

In a week, in a week,

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,

Thursday, Friday, Saturday,

Sunday's best, have a rest!

I will also include the words to the prayers that we say every day at school.

Morning prayer

Good morning Jesus,

It's a great new day,

With lots to do

And lots to play.

It's nice to know,

I've a friend like you,

Who cares for me

However I do.

At home or school,

Throughout the day

Stay close to me, please,

Dear Jesus I pray.

Prayer at the end of the day

God our Father, I come to say,

Thank you for your love today.

Thank you for my family

And all the friends you give to me.

Guard me in the dark of night

And in the morning send your light.
