Year 2

Hello Children

Another week has flown by. I hope that you have all had a good week with your families and have been working hard! The weather has been absolutely beautiful again!

After the excitement of our baby blue tits last week, we now have a mummy pigeon sitting on a nest in a tree in our front garden. I have added a picture of her below. I am amazed that she has chosen this tree because it is right by a busy road! I wonder if any babies will hatch from her eggs!

Thank you all for your lovely work again this week. There were some amazing 'escape' designs and I'm sure that Esteban had a wonderful time exploring the world. This week we are going to read some poetry and write some 'Villainous Verses!'

It really is so lovely to see all your photographs and hear all about the things that you are getting up to.

For maths this week, you can follow the videos on White Rose as you have been doing. I have access to the worksheets that go with the videos so I have put them underneath in the maths activities for the week.

I've put in some extra exercise activities which you might like for over half-term too.

Make sure that you have a good rest over half-term with your families. Send me some photos of what you get up to.

I will write to you again at the end of half-term.

I continue to think of you every day and pray for each of you every night.

Keep trying hard, keep doing your best and have fun!!!

Stay safe.

I will see you all very soon.

Much love

Mrs Paterson

Mrs Rowley and Mr Young send their love and hugs too. We all miss you!
