Starting school is an exciting and important stage in your child’s development. We want your child to be happy, confident and independent and will do our best to support them in this.

St George’s is a happy and successful school.  Our aim is to work in close co-operation with you. We share the responsibility with you, for educating your child academically, socially and spiritually.  We also share your expectation that your child will be encouraged to achieve a level of excellence in every aspect of the curriculum.

Meeting for New Intake September 2024

A meeting for parents will be held in June 2024 in the school hall (date to be advised). Parents will receive key information regarding starting school and also have the opportunity to meet staff members.

New Reception Class Visits for entry to school 2024

There is the opportunity for your child to visit the classroom and meet their Teacher and Teaching Assistant prior to starting school. This will take place in July 2024 in two groups: Group A on one day and Group B on another (dates to be advised).
