Welcome Back - Spring Term

Mrs Gillibrand and Mrs Tudor are so excited to be back with Year 5 in Spring Term! smiley

We have both missed the children dearly but are so proud of the positive messages we have heard regarding behaviour and attitude to learning - long may this continue. We would like to thank you all for your patience and cooperation during the last few week leading up until the Christmas break.

Over the following week, more will be updated on this Year 5 Class Page to keep you in the loop with Spring Term. It's going to be a great one, so keep your eyes peeled.

St Vincent de Paul

Our class saint is St Vincent de Paul who was born in France in 1581 and spent his life preaching missions to and providing relief to the poor. He established hospitals, he founded the Congregation of Priests of the Mission and the Sisters of Charity. He died in 1660 and was canonized by Pope Clement XII in 1737. His feast day is celebrated on 27th September.

The Year 5 Curriculum overview can be found under the 'Curriculum tab' on the school website.
